Today in our Tuesday Blog: Safety features.

Safety features.

When we think of safety features in our vehicle, it’s usually seat belts and airbags that come to mind. We also have sensors on our modern vehicles which help to identify risks we face while driving to warn us of trouble. We need those safety features to help us survive our daily drive, especially when the traffic around us puts us at risk. Although other drivers can often put us at risk, we can do the same thing to ourselves.

Without thinking ahead, we can put ourselves in situations that can put us at risk of injury or even death. We may rush ourselves and make illogical decisions in the heat of the moment that adds to our own risks. We sometimes trust our own instincts inside of facts and the experts who spend time educating themselves on the risks and solutions. Perhaps we should learn more from the experts.

When we take our time and plan ahead, we often put ourselves in better situations to help keep ourselves safe on the roads. We take the information we gathered while learning to drive. We take the experiences of our past to help us in the future. But it all started with the experts. We need to listen to those more equipped to supply solutions to the problems we face. We rely on the expertise of doctors when we’re ill and auto mechanics and technicians when our vehicle is acting up, so why should that change when we’re talking about road safety? It shouldn’t.

When you put things in perspective like that, there are other things we have that help keep us safe on the roads. What if these safety features were used before we get into the vehicle? Wouldn’t that help to keep us safe in a proactive way? What I’m referring to are breathalyzers. Breathalyzers are not just for the police to use at roadside stops. As individuals, we can own our own breathalyzers to help keep us safe and those around us safe.

Not Your Child Corp is in the business of helping to keep us safe. They offer personalized and individual breathalyzers you can keep with you and use whenever you need to determine if you are safe and sober to drive. They can be used during any function, whether it’s a company or team function, at home, or for restaurants to have on hand for their customers. So, when you look at the big picture, the breathalyzers from Not Your Child Corp are safety devices for us, not just our vehicles.

Let’s make breathalyzers from Not Your Child Corp part of your safety features and part of the new normal. Whether it’s used at a group function, a time out with family or friends, or out for some alone time, the breathalyzers are always available to help you make safe, early decisions before it’s too late or before you have to use a breathalyzer operated by the police. That really should be the responsibility of every driver. And remember, “When you feel different, you drive different. Drive sober.” ™
